How a CEREC crown is made.
1. The Scan
The first step is to take precise 3D color images using the CEREC Omnicam oral scanner, instead of conventional impressions with a tray.
2. Designing the restoration
After analyzing the complete scan, Dr. Schlang uses the chairside software to design your CEREC dental crown.
3. Fabrication
The Sirona MCXL milling maching fabricates the CEREC dental crown in as little as 10 minutes.
4. Delivery
Dr. Schlang will custom stain and glaze your CEREC dental crown, and then cement the restoration often at the same appointment.
